I have now had my first two days of class and have observed two lessons. The course doesn’t seem too bad at this point. It will still be a lot of work, but the instructors seem really keen on making sure everyone knows what they need to know to pass. That being said, I am really glad that I read the grammar book that Kalayna gave me, because they are teaching exactly what is going to be on the grammar test.
They have explained the basic concepts of the teaching style that they use and teach. So far it seems pretty strait forward. I will be teaching my first class either Wednesday or Thursday. It should be interesting. They pretty much write our first lesson plan for us and by the 4th lesson plan we are writing them completely ourselves.
