My first dance off!!!

Totally had my first dance off!!!

We spent the last night before leaving the north in Changchun. We decided to party it up a bit and head to the mayflower club. Some break dancers got up on the dance floor at one point and seemed to be battling each other a bit... so everyone cleared off the dance floor to watch. I quickly got up on the side of the floor again and asked the guard if i could use my hoop. He miss understood me and said yes. Then when chris and tingting started handing me my hoop he got up and started waving his hands no. Someone important that had seen me before yelled at the guard to let me.

So I got up there and did a few little tricks (room was very limited) and then backed off.. 3 of the breakdancers got off the floor. There were two left that kept battling with me for about 3 more rounds. They were pretty good....i feel like i got beat...but everyone seemed to love it. I ended it by just walking out and doing a quick jump through and then bowing to them.

I really wish i would have had my LED hoop with me... it would have made it so much better... but the hoop was already on its way to Xiamen. I need to get a LED hoop that i can turn on without opening it. One like that would be perfect for a dance off... starting with the hoop off and after a few rounds turn it on..... i could have one with an LED hoop.
